London Baby!

Photography is in my blood! Capturing how I see the world is amazing…it’s who I am and I can’t stop. The problem is, my camera is a little cumbersome. It’s not something I can just carry round with me all the time. It’s frustrating because some of the best shots are the ones I see out and about whilst doing life. If I had a pound for every time I wished I had my camera with me I’d be a rich woman right now. Well, about a month ago I read this blog post and so began my journey…

I eventually settled on the Fujifilm x100t because it had great reviews and just as importantly, it looked amazing! The first opportunity I got to use it was on my trip to London last week. Here are a few from our first day in the city.

That first night I went to sleep content and feeling complete. Yes, it sounds a bit dramatic but hey, I’m a creative šŸ™‚

The main reason we were in London was so that my friends Megan and Lindsay could attend the Queens tea party! Official invites and everything!

What I love about the Fujifilm x100t is how I can set it to capture an image the way I see it. The light in our hotel room was just fabulous.

And of course the camera came with us as we sipped on our wine and had nibbles before Luke and I escorted Megan and Lindsay to the tea party.

They had an amazing time as Luke and I had a wander round London. Here are a few I took on our walk about. I really do love reflections!

I took a fair few photos over the course of the 4 days we were there. I also met Lindsay’s friend, Luke who is a photographer and graphic designer. I absolutely love meeting new people but if they also have a similar creative streak, well I’m probably going to talk their ear off and ask them lots of questions. Lindsay grabbed a few pics of Luke and I discussing film photography whilst they were preparing for the tea party.

And finally, because it’s too hard to narrow the photos down even more, here are a few more photos from the trip.
