Privacy Policy

So here’s what you need to know about how I process your personal information.

You provide personal information to me in a number of ways (by using my contact form, emailing or messaging me, texting or even calling me!). I need to know who you are and how to contact you so I can send you a quote and continue with your booking.

I collect & retain details of you, your shoot session, your business, and location venue/details if relevant, and process this information only in order for me to provide whatever it is you have booked. I do not share this information except where necessary (for example, to ensure my second shooter knows where to go).

You may also purchase prints, digital images and more via my online store (very convenient) so I’ll need to know your postal address, email address and phone number so I can send your purchases and get in touch if there are any issues

I keep records of invoices and sales, details of shoots and contact information in Lightblue. This is an application that helps me stay super organised and is GDPR compliant too…whoop!

HMRC says I need to keep this kind of information to run my business properly and complete my tax return accurately.

Here’s where else your data may be used
I use Pixieset as a gallery so you can view your photos. All galleries are passworded so you can choose who to share them with.
Pixieset also uses Stripe for payment processing. I never see your payment details.

If paying me direct you have the option to pay via your online banking. Again, I never see your payment details.

Using photos for marketing purposes / sharing on social media
It brings me great joy to share images from my fabulous clients’ shoots on social media, my website, brochures, emails & other marketing, and also in albums, and out & about at events & exhibitions.

If you would prefer I didn’t do this then you can let me know and I will always respect your wishes & privacy.

Cookies
The virtual kind, sadly! My website uses cookies, small files saved to your computer, which help make your user experience better.

This is a WordPress website, and uses Google Analytics to anonymously track user activity, which gives me data to make your user experience of this site better.

You are in total control of your cookies – you can switch permission on & off in the settings of your browser. However, it’s worth noting that many modern websites will not function properly without cookies.

Links to other websites
I do sometimes link to other websites, normally because at the time I think there might be something interesting there. But I cannot take responsibility for the content of these. I do try to keep an eye on any links that are broken, but the contents of those sites are nothing to do with me.

Your rights under GDPR
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you lots more control over your personal data which I think is great! If you want to know more, visit the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office
