It’s a cold miserable January afternoon as I write this. But it’s brightened up by reminiscing about Hannah and Carl’s wedding back in gloriously autumnal October on a crisp Saturday afternoon.
These two were so lovely to work with…they smiled all day and I was amazed at their energy and dance moves in the evening. It was also obvious from the start that the most important thing for them was to have all their nearest and dearest with them on their special day. It was full of laughter and fun and thoughtful details like a vintage bus put on for the guests to get from the wedding breakfast to the evening venue.
Couple shots were so much fun too. In spite of a fine rain, both of them were up for outdoor photos at the beautiful Botanical Gardens. The light and colours were gorgeous and we even had visits from optimistic squirrels looking for food.
Hannah was a really chilled and laid back bride who totally rocked her racoon dressing gown in the morning. Carl just seemed to have an uncanny ability to sense when I was about to take a photo of him. The whole day was very special and it never ceases to amaze me just how different each wedding is. I love how it reflected who they are and what they are about. Here’s to a very happy future to Hannah and Carl.
